VETERAN FAMILY CAMP
ACCESSIBILITY RENOVATIONS
PROJECT 1:
Dining Hall

Temperature control is a vital
necessity for amputees.
These renovations create a
completely temperature controlled dining and gathering space with the addition of insulation, v-match pine interior, new lighting, new wiring, and a double wide ramp to enter the front of the building.
PROJECT 2:
5 Cabins Need 3 more!

Renovatation of 5 family living cabins to become completely accessible for a disabled veteran and his or her family. Includes: Entry ramp & Deck. ADA regulation doorways and doors, insulation& V-match, new windows, heating & air conditioning units, and ADA Compliant Bathroom - roll-in shower, sink, and toilet.
PROJECT 3:
Meyer's Lodge

3 Room Lodge with Conjoining Recreation Spaces - Cinema Cafe, Games Room (Pool, Foos Ball, Poker) & Coffee House. RENOVATIONS:
Entry Ramp, ADA regulation Doorways & Doors​, Insulation & V-match pine interior, new lighting, new wiring, 2 New Heating & Air Conditioning Units.
PROJECT 4: Waterfront

Renovations include creating an accessible path to the waterfront, upgrades to the shorefront, installing ramps & docks, and purchasing adaptive equipment to provides acess to all waterfront activities including boating, tubing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming.

PROJECT 5: Boardwalks

What good is having your own Center if you can't independently access all activities?

To provide complete accessibility we still need to build 8 Foot wide (to allow two wheelchairs side by side) wooden walkways on all pathways.
PROJECT 6:
Yoga Center & Theatre
​
Accessibility to both buildings includes buidling and installing ramps with bumpers and upgrading the doorways with ADA regulation entries and doors. We have ramps to the doorways but not to the stage!
